Yano (yano.club) is software for anyone in India who brings people together — a pub crawl, a house party, a run club, a weekend trip, a pottery class, a college fest, a school trip. One link collects who’s coming, their answers and, if you charge, their payment straight to you. Everyone gets a QR pass, and the entry is checked with any phone.

More than tickets

Most of the work in organising happens before anyone pays: finding out who’s really interested, choosing the right people and knowing the number. Yano is built for that part too, whether you charge or not.

Free sign-ups and RSVPs

A real list with names, numbers and answers instead of “interested” replies in your DMs. Free passes cost nothing.

Only go ahead if enough people join

People reserve for ₹0. When your number is reached, everyone gets a link to pay you. If it isn’t, nobody has paid and there is nothing to refund.

Choose who comes

Turn on approval and ask questions — an Instagram handle, an age, a reason. People send a request; only the ones you approve pay and get a pass.

Keep your regulars

Your organiser page lists every upcoming event, so one link in your bio is always current. Guests can follow you in the Yano Android app and get one quiet notification when you add a date.

How it works

Create the event on your phone: the date and place, free or paid passes, seats, and any questions.
Share one link on Instagram, WhatsApp or your website. It opens in any browser — guests don’t need an app or an account.
People sign up or pay you directly by UPI, or through your own Razorpay or Cashfree account, and get a QR pass by email.
Check people in with the scanner link on any phone. Each pass works once; walk-ins can pay at the door.

What it includes

Several pass types with their own prices and seats: early bird, couple, group, student, VIP.
Multi-day events with day passes and all-days passes; a wrong-day pass is refused at the gate.
Booking questions, guest approval and a secret location shown only on approved guests’ passes.
Pickup points, an advance online with the balance at the entry, and an optional women–men balance limit.
Promo codes for promoters and partners, with the bookings each one brought.
A door scanner for the whole team — no app, no login, no access to money or settings — with walk-ins and phone-number lookup.
Guest lists you can download or print, passes you can add by hand for cash payers, and lists you can import.
“Repeat this event” for weekly or yearly events, and a booking button for your own website.

The money goes to the organiser

Guests pay the organiser’s own UPI ID or the organiser’s own Razorpay or Cashfree account. Yano is software only: it never receives, holds or pools ticket money, and it takes no percentage of ticket prices. Every guest can download a statement showing what they paid and to whom.

What Yano does not do

Yano does not organise events. Each event is run by its organiser, who sets the price, the rules and the refunds.
Yano never handles ticket money, so it cannot issue refunds.
Yano does not verify guests’ ages or identities; organisers can ask questions and approve guests.
The door scanner checks passes online, so it needs an internet connection.

How Yano is built

Honest by default

No fake countdowns or made-up “selling fast” banners. Early birds are limited by number, and a page only shows how many have joined when it’s true.

Simple enough to need no help

Every screen explains itself, and you can book your own event with “Try booking” — nothing charged, saved or emailed — before anyone else sees it.

Guests’ details stay with the organiser

Door staff see only what they need at the entry, and AI connectors never receive guests’ phone numbers or emails.

Questions people ask about Yano

What is Yano?

Yano (yano.club) is software for organisers in India. It gives every gathering one link where people sign up or book, answer your questions and pay you directly; everyone gets a QR pass, and the entry is checked with any phone.

Is Yano only for ticketed events?

No. Many organisers use Yano without charging anything: free sign-ups and RSVPs, approving who joins, or letting people reserve for ₹0 until enough of them commit. Paid tickets are one part of it.

Does Yano take a commission or hold the money?

No. Guests pay the organiser’s own UPI ID or the organiser’s own Razorpay or Cashfree account. Yano never receives, holds or pools ticket money. Organisers buy prepaid credits: each paid pass uses one (₹6–₹10), free passes cost nothing.

Do guests or organisers need an app?

No. Booking, passes and the door scanner all work in a phone browser, including inside Instagram and WhatsApp. There is an optional Yano app for Android.

Who can use Yano?

Anyone who brings people together in India: party and pub-crawl hosts, run and book clubs, trip and trek organisers, workshop and class hosts, comedy and music events, festivals, schools, colleges and alumni groups. No company or GST registration is needed to start with UPI.

Is Yano the same as yanoclub.com?

No. Yano at yano.club is an Indian booking and entry platform. It is not connected to yanoclub.com.
