For student councils, fest teams, clubs, departments and alumni cells

Run the fest, the workshops and the alumni meet from one link per event

Sell day passes and full-fest passes, take paid or free registrations for workshops and competitions, give every campus ambassador their own code, and run every gate from volunteers’ phones. The money goes to your college or club account.

Free to start. Free events cost ₹0.

“Three Google Forms, a shared UPI ID, ambassadors who all say they sold forty passes, and one gate with a printed list on fest day.”
— A typical fest week

How Yano handles it

Day passes and full-fest passes

Sell a pass for each day and one for every day. A Day 2 pass won’t work on Day 1; a full-fest pass works once each day.

Student details with every registration

Ask for the college, course, year and student ID, or a team name for a competition. Required answers, one downloadable list.

A code for every ambassador

Give each campus ambassador or partner college their own promo code and see how many bookings each one actually brought.

Every gate on volunteers’ phones

Send the scanner link to your volunteers: no app or login, and no access to money or settings. Sell walk-in passes at the gate for cash or UPI.

On the day: Many volunteers can scan at different gates at once; each pass still works only once.

What your guests get

  • A pass for each day they bought, with the venue and timings
  • Separate passes for friends, each sent on WhatsApp in one tap
  • The organising team’s number for questions

Guests pay you directly — your UPI, or your own Razorpay or Cashfree account. Yano never holds your money. A credit costs ₹10 in small packs and ₹6 in the biggest; new organisers get 50 free credits. See pricing

Set it up

  1. Create the event. A fest with day passes, or one workshop, competition or alumni meet.
  2. Share and hand out codes. Your link in Instagram bios and class groups; a code for each ambassador.
  3. Run the gates. Volunteers scan passes and sell walk-ins from their own phones.

Questions organisers ask

Whose account does the money go to?

Yours: the college’s, the club’s or the society’s own UPI ID, or your own Razorpay or Cashfree account. Yano never holds it.

Can outside students and our own students pay different prices?

Yes. Make separate pass types, for example “Our college” and “Other colleges”, each with its own price and quantity. Check ID cards at the gate if the price depends on it.

Can we run free registrations too?

Yes. Free events and free passes cost nothing on Yano, and everyone still gets a QR pass.

Can teams register for a competition?

One person books for the team and answers your questions, such as the team name and members. Each pass they book can be sent to a teammate on WhatsApp.

We hold events every month. Do we start over each time?

No. Open last time’s event and tap “Repeat this event”: tickets, questions and payment settings are copied, and you change the date.
