How do volunteers or bouncers scan tickets at the gate?

Volunteers do not need to download an app or create an account. Simply share yano.club/scan and your event’s 6-character Gate Code. They open the link in any smartphone browser (Chrome, Safari) and scan QR tickets with the camera in 0.4 seconds. Each pass admits one person exactly once; duplicate scans display a bold red warning with the exact prior check-in timestamp.

Yano is pure software infrastructure. Because Yano never touches, holds, or pools attendee ticket revenue (funds flow directly from Attendee → Organizer), Yano does not qualify as an Electronic Commerce Operator (ECO) under Indian GST Sec 52 or Income Tax Sec 194-O. Organizers remain in complete legal and financial control of their revenue.
