Everything organizers ask about Yano, answered plainly. Can't find it? Contact us.
Sign up free at yano.club/login (you get free ticket credits, no card). Click "New event", add title, venue, date, poster and ticket types (₹0 = free RSVP), then Publish. You get a mobile-first booking link to share on Instagram and WhatsApp. Total time: under 5 minutes.
Dashboard → Settings → Your payment gateway → choose Razorpay → paste your Key ID and Key Secret from Razorpay Dashboard → Account & Settings → API Keys. Yano verifies them instantly. Buyer money then settles directly to your bank on Razorpay's normal cycle — Yano never holds it.
Dashboard → Settings → Your payment gateway → choose Cashfree → paste your Client ID and Client Secret from Cashfree Dashboard → Developers → API Keys (pick Production or Sandbox). Money settles directly to your account.
Share yano.club/scan and your 6-character gate code (shown on your event's manage page) with volunteers. They open it in any phone browser — no app, no account — and scan tickets with the camera. Each QR admits one person exactly once; a second scan shows ALREADY USED with the earlier entry time. A live count shows entries versus tickets sold.
Gate staff tap "Lost QR? Find by phone" in the scanner, enter the buyer's mobile number, and check them in directly. Buyers can also recover all their tickets anytime at yano.club/my-tickets.
When creating the event, enable "Guest approval" and add questions — Instagram handle, age, gender, or custom ones. People request a spot instead of paying immediately. You review requests live in your dashboard (Instagram handles are clickable), approve or decline, and only approved people receive the payment link. Ideal for house parties, women-only meetups and curated club nights.
No commission, no monthly fee, no buyer-side fee from Yano. You pre-buy credits; 1 credit = 1 issued PAID ticket (roughly ₹7–10 per ticket depending on volume — live rates at yano.club/#pricing). Free/RSVP tickets use no credits at all. New organizers get free credits at signup.
Yes. Free (RSVP) tickets consume zero credits and still include the signed QR, gate scanning, attendee list and bio-link page.
Straight from the buyer to YOUR own Razorpay or Cashfree account at the moment of payment, settling to your bank on the gateway's standard cycle. Yano is software only — it never receives, holds or routes your ticket money, so there is no "payout" to wait for.
Since the money is already in your gateway account, you refund from your own Razorpay/Cashfree dashboard in one click. Yano credits for unused purchases are refundable within 30 days (see yano.club/refund-policy).
Yes — UPI, cards, netbanking and wallets, whatever your Razorpay/Cashfree account has enabled. The checkout opens in the same page, works inside Instagram's in-app browser.
Instantly on-screen after payment, as a permanent link, optionally by email, and always recoverable by phone number at yano.club/my-tickets. Buyers commonly screenshot the QR — safe, because each QR works only once at the gate.
Tell them to open yano.club/my-tickets and enter their phone number. Yano automatically checks the payment with the gateway and issues any pending ticket. Genuinely failed payments are auto-refunded by the bank in 5–7 working days.
Yes — your public page yano.club/o/your-handle lists every upcoming event. Put it in your Instagram bio; set your handle in Settings.
Yes. Yano has a native MCP connector: copy your personal connector URL from Settings → AI connector, add it in your AI app, then just chat — "create my Friday show, ₹199, 100 tickets", "how many sold?". Setup guide: yano.club/ai.
For independent organizers selling to their own audience — yes, that's exactly what it's built for: zero commission, instant money, self-serve, no listing approval. For marquee shows needing citywide discovery, marketplaces still make sense. Full comparison: yano.club/alternatives.
Just a Razorpay or Cashfree account (free to create; the gateway's ~2% processing charge applies and is paid to them). For free events you need nothing — not even a gateway.
Yes, every credit purchase gets a GST invoice. Note: GST on your ticket sales is your responsibility as the seller of the tickets.
Yano is operated by an independent founder in India. Support is on WhatsApp and email via yano.club/contact — a real human replies, and event-day issues get priority.
