Can I issue a pass on-the-spot if someone walks in with cash?
Yes. In your mobile scanner at yano.club/scan, tap the "+ Walk-in Pass" button, choose Cash, Spot UPI, or Complimentary, enter the guest’s name, and tap issue. They are checked in immediately and counted in your event totals.
What happens if a student’s phone battery dies?
Door staff can simply type the buyer’s 10-digit mobile number into the scanner search bar (or press "/" shortcut). Their verified booking appears with their name and ticket tier, and staff can tap "Check In" with 1 tap.
Do I need a registered company or GST to host workshops?
No. In Direct Personal UPI mode, attendees pay directly to your personal Google Pay, PhonePe, or Paytm UPI ID. You don’t need a Pvt Ltd, LLP, or GST number to sell workshop passes.
