Yano feature
Pickup points for bus trips, treks and yatras
A trek that picks up from three stations at 5 am lives on one question: who is boarding where, and who hasn’t arrived yet?
How it works
- In Features, turn on Pickup points and add your stops with times (for example “Dadar TT, 5:15 am”).
- Guests choose their stop while booking. It is printed on their pass and in their confirmation.
- On the day, each volunteer opens the door scanner on their phone. They scan passes and see the guest list with each person’s stop and phone number, so they can call anyone who hasn’t arrived.
Who it is for
- Weekend treks and trips with strangers.
- Bus yatras and pilgrimages.
- Corporate outings and college trips with several pickups.
- Any event with shuttles from more than one place.
Pairs well with
- Advance + balance: take a part online and collect the rest at boarding — the scanner shows how much to collect.
- Minimum guest goal: only run the bus once enough seats are filled.
Try it for your next gathering
Free to start. Guests pay you directly; Yano never holds your ticket money. Free events cost nothing.
Questions people ask
Can a guest change their stop?
Ask them to message you; you can see their booking in your guest list.
Do volunteers need a Yano account?
No. They open the scanner link you send them on WhatsApp — no app, no login. They can’t see your money or settings.
