Multi-day events: day passes, all-days passes and a door that knows the difference
Three nights of garba, a two-day festival, a weekend retreat, a four-week workshop. Multi-day events need passes that know which day they are for — otherwise one pass gets passed around all weekend.
Three ways to sell
You can offer any mix — say day passes for each night plus a cheaper all-nights pass.
- A pass for one specific day (for example “Saturday night”).
- A pass where the guest chooses their day while booking.
- An all-days pass for the whole event.
What happens at the door
- A Day 2 pass is refused on Day 1, with a clear message.
- An all-days pass lets the guest in once each day. A second scan on the same day shows it was already used today.
- On each event day, your dashboard and scanner count today’s guests.
How to set it up
- In the basics, turn on “Runs over more than one day” and list the days, each with a short name guests will see (for example “Sat — Garba night”).
- For each ticket type, choose which day it is valid on, or let guests choose, or make it valid on all days.
- Share one link. Guests see the days and book what they want.
Try it for your next gathering
Free to start. Guests pay you directly; Yano never holds your ticket money. Free events cost nothing.
Questions people ask
Can I see how many people came each day?
Yes. On each event day the dashboard shows today’s check-ins, and the guest list can be filtered by day.
Can a guest add a day later?
They can book another pass for that day from the same link.
