Yano feature
Keep the address private until someone books
Posting your home address on Instagram is a real safety risk. But guests still need to know roughly where they are going before they buy.
How it works
- Turn on “Keep the address private until someone books” when you create the event.
- The public event page shows only the area (for example “Bandra West, Mumbai”).
- The exact address and the map pin appear on the pass — and only confirmed guests have passes.
- Secret-location events are never listed on Yano’s Find page, so they stay among the people you share them with.
Who uses it
- House parties and living-room gigs.
- Secret dinners and supper clubs.
- Rooftop and private-venue events.
- Any event where the host’s privacy matters.
Try it for your next gathering
Free to start. Guests pay you directly; Yano never holds your ticket money. Free events cost nothing.
Questions people ask
Can someone see the address without booking?
No. It is shown only on passes, which only confirmed guests receive.
Can I still share the link publicly?
Yes. Anyone with the link can see the event and book; only the exact address waits until booking.
