Pricing
Pricing event tickets: early bird, couple and group passes
Too many ticket types confuse people; one price leaves money and urgency on the table. Two or three clear options usually win.
Structures that work
- Early bird + regular: a lower price for the first set of passes. Honest urgency, because the number is real.
- Single + couple: a couple pass slightly below two singles. Popular for garba, parties and mixers.
- Group / table: for 4–6 people booking together, at a small discount.
- Free + paid: a free entry pass with a paid VIP or drinks pass.
Run early bird honestly
Limit early bird by quantity (say the first 50 passes), not by a deadline you’ll extend. When they’re gone, they’re gone — people trust the next one.
Promo codes instead of blanket discounts
Give a code to friends, early fans or an influencer’s audience. Each code can have its own limit and link, so you also learn where bookings come from.
Account for your costs
Venue, sound, food, and payment fees if you use a gateway. With Yano, each paid pass also uses one software credit (₹6–₹10); free passes use none.
Try it for your next gathering
Free to start. Guests pay you directly; Yano never holds your ticket money. Free events cost nothing.
Questions people ask

Yes. Set a maximum per booking for each ticket type.
Can I hide a ticket type later?
Yes. Pause a ticket type from your event’s Tickets tab; passes already sold stay valid.
