A door scanner for your whole team — plus walk-ins paid in cash or UPI

Give the scanner to your team

1. On your event, tap Send scanner to staff and share the link on WhatsApp.
2. Volunteers open it on any phone — no app, no account — and enter the 6-character gate code if asked.
3. They scan passes with the phone camera. Green: let them in. Amber: already checked in (with the time, the name and the last 4 digits of the booking phone). Red: not valid here or today.

They can scan, find guests by phone number and see the guest list. They can’t see your sales, payments or settings.

Walk-ins at the gate

Someone turns up without a pass? In the scanner, tap Walk-in, choose the ticket and how they paid — cash, spot UPI or free. They get a real pass and are checked in, so your count stays right. Paid walk-ins use one credit like any paid pass.

Balances, lost passes and busy queues

• Passes with a balance due show the amount to collect, and “I received ₹…” records it with one tap.
• Guest lost their email? Find them by phone number and check them in.
• Missed what the screen said? Tap Recent to reopen the last scans.
• Have a USB or Bluetooth barcode scanner that types what it reads? It works with the scanner page open.

Honest limits

• The scanner needs internet: every scan is checked online so a pass can’t be used twice at two gates. On weak signal it retries and tells you clearly if it couldn’t check.
• Print the guest list as a backup before a big night.
