For organisers

For garba and dandiya organisers: many nights, many gates, one smooth entry

By the Yano team · 12 October 2026 · 7 min read

Navratri events sell fast, run for several nights, and have queues at more than one gate. The ticketing has to be simple for guests and impossible to cheat at the door.

Passes that match how people come

  • Single and couple passes for each night.
  • An all-nights pass at a better price.
  • Early-bird passes limited by quantity, so the urgency is real.

The door knows which night it is

A Night 2 pass is refused on Night 1. An all-nights pass works once per night — a second scan the same night shows it was already used. Each night your dashboard counts that night’s guests.

Every gate gets a scanner

Send the scanner link to your volunteers; it opens on any phone with a gate code. Several people can scan at once at different gates — a pass still works only once. A USB or Bluetooth barcode scanner also works.

Walk-ins and cash

At the gate, sell a walk-in pass for cash or spot UPI from the scanner. They’re checked in immediately and counted.

Big rush? Use a gateway

If hundreds book in the first hour, connect your own Razorpay or Cashfree so passes go out automatically. For smaller nights, your UPI works with no gateway fee.

Try it for your next gathering

Free to start. Guests pay you directly; Yano never holds your ticket money. Free events cost nothing.

Questions people ask

Can guests choose their night while booking?

Yes — sell a pass where the guest picks the day, or separate passes per night.

What if the signal is weak at the venue?

The scanner retries and tells you clearly if it couldn’t check. Print the guest list as a backup before the night.
