For hosts who work with promoters

Every promoter gets their own link. You see what each one brings.

Give each promoter, influencer or campus ambassador a code with its own booking link, with or without a discount. Yano counts the paid passes each one brings and adds up what you owe them. Guests pay you directly, and you pay your promoters yourself.

Codes cost nothing extra. Nothing goes live until you publish.

Sound familiar?

  • A promoter says they sold 40, and you can’t checkEach code counts its own paid passes. You both look at the same number.
  • Free and cancelled passes in the countOnly paid passes that aren’t cancelled count. A pass cancelled later drops off by itself.
  • A discount on every promoter’s codeA promoter code can have no discount. The guest pays the normal price.
  • A free drink with the code, and nobody knows who already had oneThe extra is on the pass. Door staff tap Given, once per pass.
  • Adding up screenshots at 2 amOne message with their numbers, ready to send on WhatsApp.

How it works

Three steps, then the numbers keep themselves.

Example screens with a sample party.

  1. 1

Make a code for each promoter

Their name, a code like RIYA, and — if you pay per pass — the amount. Choose no discount (the price stays the same) or a discount for their followers. You can also promise their guests an extra, like a free welcome drink.

  2. 2

    They share their own link

Each code has a booking link that adds the code for the guest. Guests can also type the code. Either way the booking is counted for that promoter, and guests see any extra before they pay.

  3. 3

You see what each one brought

Your dashboard shows the paid passes each code brought and, if you set a payout, what you owe. Tap Send numbers to share the same figures with the promoter.

Send numbers

Their numbers, in one message.

Open a code and tap Send numbers. On a phone, the share sheet opens with a plain message for the promoter (on a laptop, it’s copied): their paid passes, what you owe, and what wasn’t counted. Send it on WhatsApp, or wherever you talk.

  • The same rule as your dashboard, so there’s nothing to argue about.
  • Need the detail? Download a report for the code, with one row per pass and whether it counts.
  • Promoters don’t need an account. You send them their numbers.

Extras at the door

“Free welcome drink with my code.” Given once per pass.

A code can promise its guests something extra. They see it before they pay, on their pass and in their pass email. At the door, the scanner shows it to your staff, who hand it over and tap Given.

Scan the same pass again and it shows when it was given, so it can’t be claimed twice. Tapped by mistake? Undo it.

What counts, and what doesn’t.

One rule, everywhere: your dashboard, the report, the message you send and your AI assistant.

Counts for the promoter

  • A pass whose payment is confirmed
  • On a paid pass type
  • Not cancelled

Shown, but not counted

  • Free passes, including a 100% discount
  • Cancelled or refunded passes (they drop off by themselves)
  • Bookings still waiting for their payment to be confirmed

Pause a code any time: nobody new can use it, and past bookings stay. A code with bookings can be paused but not deleted, so you always know who brought whom.

You pay your promoters. Yano only counts.

Guests pay you directly — your UPI ID, or your own Razorpay or Cashfree account. Yano never holds ticket money and never pays promoters: you settle with them yourself, the way you already do. Yano is paid with credits: each paid pass uses one credit, ₹6–₹10, whoever brought it. Codes cost nothing extra. No commission, no monthly fee, and you start with 50 free credits.

Questions hosts ask

Does a guest pay more because they used a promoter’s link?

No. A promoter code can have no discount, so the guest pays the normal price. If you want, give the code a percentage or flat discount instead.

What counts as a paid pass?

A pass whose payment is confirmed, on a paid pass type, that isn’t cancelled. Free passes (including a 100% discount) and cancelled passes are shown but never counted. If a pass is cancelled later, it drops off the count by itself.

Does Yano pay my promoters?

No. Yano never holds ticket money and never pays promoters. Guests pay you directly, and you pay your promoters yourself, on UPI or however you agree. Yano only counts and adds up what you owe.

Can promoters log in to see their own numbers?

Not yet. From your dashboard, tap Send numbers to share their paid passes and what you owe them, on WhatsApp or anywhere else. You can also download a report for each code with one row per pass.

What if a guest types the code instead of using the link?

It’s counted the same way. The link only saves them typing it.

How do guest extras like a free drink work?

Add what guests with the code also get, for example “Free welcome drink”. Guests see it before they pay, on their pass and in their pass email. At the door the scanner shows it, and staff tap Given, so each pass gets it once.

Can I stop a promoter’s code?

Yes. Pause it and nobody new can use it; past bookings stay. A code with bookings can be paused but not deleted, so you always know who brought them. You can also set a limit on how many bookings a code can take.

What does it cost?

Codes cost nothing extra. Each paid pass uses one credit (₹6–₹10), whoever brought it; free passes cost nothing. No commission and no monthly fee. New organisers get 50 free credits.
