Your money, straight to you

Guests pay your UPI ID or your own Razorpay/Cashfree. Yano never touches ticket money — so there's nothing to withdraw and nothing to wait for.

02

No app needed

Guests book in their browser and get their pass by email. Your door team scans with a phone camera — just a link and a gate code. Prefer an app? Yano is on Google Play.

03

One small fee, only for paid passes

₹6–₹10 per paid pass, from credits you buy upfront. Free passes cost nothing. Credits never expire. You start with 50 free.

How it works

Every step of your event, taken care of

From the moment you share your link to the last person through the door — here's what happens, and what Yano does for you.

  1. 1

One link in your Instagram bio

All your events live on your own page — yano.club/o/yourname — with your cover photo and Instagram. Put it in your bio: followers tap it and book right inside Instagram, no app to download. Every event also gets its own page to share on WhatsApp and in stories.

Not sure enough people will come? Set a minimum guest goal. Guests join for free, and pay only once your goal is reached.

  2. 2

    Guests book in a minute

They pick a day and a ticket, choose their pickup point, and answer your questions. Want to choose who comes? Turn on approval and review each request first — Instagram handles included.

Email to your guestBooking saved — pay to confirm your spot
  3. 3

    Payment goes to you

UPI to your accountThe guest pays your UPI ID. You check your UPI app and tap Approve. ₹0 gateway fee.
Your Razorpay or CashfreeCards, UPI and netbanking. Passes go out on their own, any time of day.
Email to your guestYour pass — Garba Raas Nights, Day 2
  4. 4

    A calm door

Your volunteers open the scanner on their own phones with a gate code. Each pass works once. Everything they need is on one screen:

    • A Day 3 pass on Day 2? It says so — even after midnight.
    • Lost phone? Find the guest by mobile number.
    • Paid an advance? It shows what to collect.
    • Walk-ins get a pass right at the gate.
    • See who's still to come at each pickup point, and call them.
  5. 5

    During and after

Watch bookings, payments and check-ins live on your phone. Export your guest list any time. Running it again? Repeat the event in one tap. If plans change, move the date or cancel — every guest gets an email.

What we’ll never do

Hold your money. Ticket payments go to your account, not ours.

Take a cut of your ticket price. Not a percentage, not a “convenience fee” on your guests.

Lock in your guests. Export your full guest list whenever you like.

Invent urgency. “Only a few left” appears only when your tickets really are running out.

Questions people ask

Where does the ticket money go?

Straight to you. With UPI, guests pay your own UPI ID. With a gateway, they pay through your own Razorpay or Cashfree account, which settles to your bank. Yano never receives, holds or pools ticket money.

What does Yano cost?

Free events cost nothing. Each paid pass uses one credit — ₹10 each, down to ₹6 when you buy in bulk. There is no commission on your ticket price and no monthly fee. Credits never expire, and new organizers get 50 free credits to start.

Do I need Razorpay or a registered business?

No. You can sell with just your UPI ID: guests pay you, you check your UPI app and tap Approve, and they get their pass. If you want passes to go out automatically and accept cards, connect your own Razorpay or Cashfree account (they charge their usual processing fee, usually about 2%).

How does entry at the door work?

Your team opens the Yano scanner in any phone browser with your event’s gate code — no app, no login. Each pass lets one person in once (all-days passes: once per day). If a pass is for another day, the scanner says so. If a guest lost their phone, your team can find them by mobile number.

Can I run a festival or trip over several days?

Yes. Sell day passes and all-days passes. The scanner knows which day it is — even after midnight at a late-night event — and volunteers can see who is still to come at each pickup point.

Can I choose who comes?

Yes. Turn on guest approval and ask your own questions, like an Instagram handle or age. You review each request, and only approved guests can pay.

What if my credits run out in the middle of a sale?

Your sale keeps going for up to 50 more paid passes below zero, so a busy night isn’t cut short. After that, card payments pause until you add credits; UPI approvals keep working.

Who handles refunds and event questions?

You do, as the organizer — the money came to you. Yano provides the ticketing software and door check-in. Guests can report a problem from their pass; you see it, sort it out, and they close it.

Your next event, taken care of.

Set it up in minutes. It's free to start, and free events stay free.
